It is not required to have a ticket to the event in the app in order to make a cashless purchase at the event, however, if you would like the group members to have their own tickets on their account as well, you can transfer them using your CrowdBlink app account. Just make sure you transfer it to the same email address that they created their account with. Learn how to transfer tickets by clicking here.
If the event is only accepting CrowdBlink cashless
Have the other members of your group follow these steps to be able to make purchases:
- Download the CrowdBlink app and create an account
- Add a default payment method to your CrowdBlink account
- Then they are ready to purchase!
If the event is accepting CrowdBlink cashless or card present transactions
Your group members can either use the CrowdBlink app through their own account with a default payment method attached or can purchase using their card.
If they would like to receive receipts for their purchases they will need to either use their CrowdBlink app account to pay, have their CrowdBlink app account scanned before using their card.
Note: only tickets transferred using the CrowdBlink app will allow the receipt to go to the current user. If the tickets are not transferred using the CrowdBlink app the ticket purchaser will receive the receipts. To learn how to transfer tickets visit this article.
